As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of blasting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we appreciate that blasting suits must fully comply with outdoor sports surfaces and provide ultimate comfort and protection for the blaster. That’s why we stock only the best from nylon and cotton blast suits from RPB Safety and our own brand of leather and cotton suits.

Blasting suits to suit every need
Whether it be a heavy duty leather and cotton blast suit or light weight nylon and cotton blasting suit, we’re confident you’ll find what you need here at Surface Finishing Equipment Group.
We strive to provide our customers with blasting PPE that offers protection and comfort at the same time and currently provide grit blasting suits in:
- Medium
- Large
- X Large
- XX-Large
- XXX-Large
Great for blasting operations and spray painting, blasting suits are reinforced with leather or nylon panels at impact areas (i.e. sleeves, leg fronts, elbows and collar) to offer additional protection for the wearer.
The RPB suit has a breathable cotton back that allows the operator to remain cool at all times, and heavy-duty nylon protection at the front, arms and legs. This sandblasting suit even has elasticated wrists and ankle cuffs to ensure a comfortable fit, whilst keeping abrasives and dust out.
The leather and cotton blast suit from SFEG is reinforced with leather panels instead of nylon. You can adjust the arms and legs too – using the buckles – to prevent abrasive material from entering the suit.
A selection of blast gloves
Alongside our blasting suits, you’ll notice that we stock leather blasting gloves too. These are both durable and reliable on the exterior and have a soft interior lining which allows for comfortable wearing.
They ensure maximum protection for the hands of those undertaking grit blasting, grinding, welding and any other heavy-duty applications. And blast gloves should always be worn in addition to (not in place of) a sandblasting suit and air-fed blasting helmet!
