Specification

  • A site survey and consultation is recommended to determine the most appropriate system.
  • Optimum specification is based on trade off between frequency of use, initial cost, and features.
  • Blast rooms can give the control and cost advantages of bringing blast cleaning in-house
  • The room is used to contain the work piece and operator, and normally incorporates an equipment room, lighting, and safety interlocks.
  • Construction is either a converted shipping container or custom sized modular steel construction.
  • A choice of Abrasive Recovery systems can be incorporated to collect used abrasive, remove dust and fines and return the cleaned abrasive to the blast pot for re-use.
  • Due to the abrasive being contained with the blast room, it can be recovered and recycled.
  • A dust extraction system is included to keep the blast room air clear for safety and visibility.
  • LED lighting is installed to give the operator and bright work area.
  • The blast room will be rubber lined with standard or Para shotblast rubber for longer life and a brighter enviroment.
