A Beginners Guide to buying Blast Pots

Every application requires a unique solution, you need to make sure that you choose the right blast pots for your specific application, and that’s where we come in!

Here at Surface Finishing Equipment Group, we cater for an array of needs, hence why we have put together a buyer’s guide to help you to work out what the blast pots are needed for and the considerations that you’ll need to make, prior to purchasing them!

With an extensive range of blast pots to choose from, you want to be sure that you find the most suitable ones to complete your project efficiently, why not consider the following factors?

At SFEG, we supply the blast pots in a variety of sizes, ranging from 20L, right up to 200L. For bigger projects, you’ll need to choose larger blast pots. These are ideal for in-house applications that require continual blasting.  With these blast pots, the need to refill them is less, allowing you to complete your project sooner.

If the project that you’re undertaking is small, you’ll benefit from one of our smaller blast pots. We recommend our 50-100L blast pots for such applications, providing you with sufficient manoeuvrability.

Roughly, how much pressure will be needed?

If you need to clean soft wood or lightly soiled stones, a low pressure will be required. However, if you need to remove any rust from iron or steel, you’ll want to choose one of our high-pressure blast pots.

If you need to know more about this, feel free to speak to one of our experts today!

When it comes to choosing the most suitable size, we can offer our expertise! We can help you to find the optimum nozzle size for your blast pots, ensuring that they offer the best quality.

For large pressure blast pots, a larger nozzle is ideal, allowing you to effectively clean your products, speeding up the process.

For any offshore work, you can rest assured that our blast pots are ideal for high-risk environments. No matter which surface finishing equipment you choose from SFEG, you needn’t worry about finding equipment that meets required safety standards!

Here at SFEG, we provide the portable abrasive blast pots. These are smaller units than the stationary units but are guaranteed to make site-work easy. As well as this, the portable units provide you with greater control, allowing you to target some of the most difficult areas.

The blast pots that we supply at SFEG are suitable for various budget requirements, ensuring that you receive the best value for money. Any blast pot from our extensive collection is ideal if you want to maintain professional standards.
